Capital Credit Union – “Making It Happen” for You. There’s nothing like feeling at home. At Capital Credit Union, we provide a safe, secure “financial home” for each of our more than 34,000 members. Headquartered in Kimberly Wisconsin, our roots go back to the Kimberly Credit Union, founded in 1934 by Kimberly Paper Mill employees with the purpose of offering affordable loans and savings options to their members. Over the years, we kept growing, became what is known as a community credit union, and, in 1996, changed our name to Capital. Almost 80 years later, we’re still going strong. Today we’re a community credit union serving members who live or work in Outagamie, Winnebago, Calumet and Brown counties. We follow sound business practices and maintain strong reserves while adding new members every day. Because we are member-owned, our profits are returned to our members in the form of exceptional loan rates, higher rates on deposits, and a variety of free and low-cost products and services such as free checking, mobile banking, text alerts and much more. Along with our members, Capital employees are at the heart of who we are. We offer a number of career opportunities in a friendly, supportive work environment with full-time, part-time and student jobs for people in our communities. Giving back to the communities we serve is part of Capital’s mission as a not-for-profit cooperative.
